Ladies C vs Saracens A

The team had a welcome boost this week with Jules Faragher playing - say no more, classy and brilliant as ever!  Apart from the amazing Tamsyn slamming 4 goals in which were superb, I'd have said that Janine Webber was lady of the match - she was solid in midfield and had really good pace!  I just happened to have my kit on so played my first game back (Liam kindly slept the entire game and woke on the final whistle).  Was great to see the girls playing so well, all did well and supported each other well, particularly Alice Henderson, Shauna Kennaugh and Hannah Shimmin.  Karren Read made some confident saves - good attempts by Saracens considering they only had 8.  Heaven help them if Sian Murphy would have been on the pitch, it would have been double figures at least on the score sheet!  Report by Donna Harrison
