The only man in modern times ever to dislocate his knee playing badminton, Seedy has been an established keeper at Valkyrs for many years. Struggled with the concept of not shooting your own team when playing paintball!

Dave Griffiths
Dave used to spend his days serving Queen & Country but now prefers the sedate office environment provided by RBS! Solid, reliable defender who could easily play in a higher squad than at present.

Paul Scambler
A keen eye for the ladies, you'll often see him wearing his Rockports both on and off the pitch. Speaks a strange language called "scally", ending most conversations with "eggs & potata, see ya later!"

Gareth Roome
Like all South Africans, Garreth is passionate about his sport. A good defender who never manages to turn up to anything on time (not even lunch). Email technique needs improving as he thinks that not replying to an email means "yes" to a question. Our very own GPOD (Ginger Prince of Darkness)!

Craig Killey
Eldest of the four Killey siblings, Craig is fast developing into a very reliable and solid defender who trains as hard as he plays. A quiet lad (or so we all thought) until he celebrated his most improved player award at the end of season party!

Clive Callister
The original party boy, Clive is a legend down at Valkyrs. A big favourite of the line, "Don't waste my time", he takes grief from no-one! Also known for expecting a lot from his team mates.....he's never made any of the girls cry, ever!

Neil Shimmin
NPS is another long standing Valkyrian. Just come back to the game after a few years out, it's a joy to hear "spinning away" and "man fast" once again. Always gives 110%, he once knocked out cold a lady during a mixed game and was heard to say "sorry player" as he carried on past!

Nick Watt
Nick's another keen young player who has made rapid progress over the last few years. Our very own surf dude who seems to have a knack of getting his head in the way of opposition sticks.

Vic Ferns
A champion karaoke star and extraordinary tight club treasurer, Vic can often be seen hunting in the hedges for lost balls! Still got the skills of a champion although with knees of an 85 year old, has now become a member of the Rodney & Shirls Valkyrs Supporters Club!

Chris Killey
One of four brothers who play for the club, Chris is an up and coming young player with bags of potential. A keen student of the game, he is also pursuing his coaching qualifications. Has heard from elder brother Craig that the end of season awards night is not to be missed!

Oli Lockley
Oli's a very skillful player with bags of potential. Has an awesome strike and loves to take on defenders. Has been selected for the Island U17 training squad.

Mark Moyer
A Valkyrs veteran of many years, Moy is well known for his many changing fads with his current interest being his "pimp my ride baby" Ford Escort. Never short of a witty one liner which only he can get away with, he's widely credited with bringing the art of "ponying" on a dance floor to the mass public.

Jonah Hull
Our resident Maverick, Jonah was a relative late comer to hockey who enjoys the social side of things. Knows the rule book inside out and apparently does his "best work" between 1am & 3am. A serial wedding crasher who was once told, "If I'd have wanted YOU at my wedding, I would've invited you!"
