Darren Quirk

Darren is well past the normal retirement age for a keeper but he loves it so much he can still be found getting in the way of people's balls on a Saturday afternoon!

Mikey Lee

When not cleaning Organs in his spare time (no joke), Mikey's a star keeper in the making who's not afraid to put his body on the line where it hurts. Almost had his head taken off a couple of times in training by Gareth but just shrugs his shoulders and carries on. Good lad!!

Bill Cowie

Bill has a tremendously powerful strike on him, only problem is that his radar is a little bit dicky! Quite often spends more of the season skiing than actually playing hockey which probably isn't a bad thing!

Simon Kelly

Simon used to be a no nonsense defender but has done such a good job with his young squad that he actually doesn't get a game these days! He's very protective of his team but has them playing some fantastic attacking hockey.

Lindsay Riordan

Another veteran of far too many years, Lindsay's a rock in defence who keeps the kids in position advising on the rules as he goes along (it's the umpire in him you know!!)

Roger Smith

Our very own watchmaker, you'll not be surprised to hear that Roger is very good with his hands! Also a champion skier and likes a good night out on the town. A big fan of wellies apparently!!

Mark Osborn

Ozzy is back playing hockey again after a few seasons off. Plays to win at all times and likes a good battle to get his teeth into (not literally of course!)

Lucas Croydon

Lucas is a captains dream who'll play in any position and just loves his hockey. Has adjusted well to playing senior hockey with his skill levels improving all the time.

Roger Quine

Roger can only be described as a stalwart. Still putting in some cracking performances for the team and always advising/encouraging/developing the next generation. A credit to valkyrs, well when his hamstrings allow!

Stephen Moore

Another quiet lad, Moorey has improved considerably over the last couple of years. Keeps himself busy playing Warcraft amoung several other strange activities! A bit worrying, but Moorey was last seen clutching a pink teddy bear for most of the night at the Mhelliah....PINK TEDDY BEAR!!!!

Graham Shimmin

An ex-keeper who like them all thinks he can play out a bit. Shim does OK considering he holds the stick with his left hand under the right hand...very strange! One of the Three Muskateers, he's rarely seen on the scoresheet without comrades Groves & Winchester.

Callum Green

Cal's very keen and always gives 110% effort every time he plays. Helps out with coaching when he can and has been selected for the Island U15 training squad.

Mark Entwisle

The current club President, Enty is a veteran with many years service. Used to be a top keeper but now manages the Ladies A team.......some say he always did like a good challenge! Possibly has the whitest pair of legs you'll ever see!
